Founded in 1976 in Ordu as Çakmaklar Yapı Malzemeleri Koll. Şti., our company began operations in the construction materials sector under the leadership of brothers Turan and Burhan Çakmak.
In 1987, Turan Seramik A.Ş. was established as one of Turkey's pioneering vitrified ceramic manufacturers. After 3 years of intensive R&D and investment, first production commenced in 4,800 m² of closed area in 1990.
Today, with 300 employees, a 28,000 m² total facility (15,000 m² closed) and a production capacity of 600,000 units/year, we export to 40 countries.
Our Story
Turan and Burhan Çakmak brothers founded Çakmaklar Koll. Şti. in Ordu and began operations in the construction materials sector.
Turan Seramik A.Ş. was established as one of Turkey's pioneering vitrified ceramic manufacturers.
After 3 years of intensive R&D and investment, first production commenced in 4,800 m² of closed area.
First export deliveries to European and Middle Eastern markets were made under the Turavit brand.
TSE, CE and ISO quality standards were obtained, establishing trust in international markets.
Export geography expanded with entry into the Balkans, Turkic Republics and North African markets.
Continuing to grow with 300 employees, a 28,000 m² total (15,000 m² closed) facility and exports to 40+ countries. Continuous production with our 600,000 units/year capacity.
